Tutorial: Multistreaming – How to Manage Youtube and Twitch Chat with MixItUp

Introduction

MixItUp is a powerful tool that can help you manage both YouTube and Twitch chat simultaneously. This is especially useful for content creators who want to interact with their audience on multiple platforms at the same time. In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through the process of setting up MixItUp to manage YouTube and Twitch chat in a single interface.

Note: This tutorial assumes you have accounts on both YouTube and Twitch

Step 1: Download and Install MixItUp

  1. Visit the MixItUp website (https://mixitupapp.com/) and download the software for your operating system.
  2. Install MixItUp by following the on-screen instructions.

Step 2: Connect Your YouTube and Twitch Accounts

  1. Launch MixItUp and sign in or create an account if prompted.
  2. Once inside MixItUp, click on the “Services” tab.
  3. Under “Chat Services,” click on the “YouTube” option.
  4. You will be prompted to connect your YouTube account. Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize MixItUp to access your YouTube channel.
  5. Return to the “Services” tab, and now click on the “Twitch” option.
  6. Connect your Twitch account in a similar way, following the on-screen prompts.

Step 3: Managing Chat

  1. While streaming, you can manage both YouTube and Twitch chat in MixItUp by simply monitoring the respective chat windows within Mixitup App.
  2. You can respond to messages and interact with your audience from both platforms simultaneously.
