Tutorial: Create a Quick Clip Command using MixItUp Streaming Bot

Step 1: Download and Install MixItUp Streaming Bot

  • Visit the official MixItUp website and navigate to the download section.
  • Download the latest version of MixItUp Streaming Bot compatible with your operating system.
  • Follow the installation instructions provided by the setup wizard to install MixItUp on your computer.

Step 2: Open MixItUp Streaming Bot

  • Launch MixItUp Streaming Bot on your computer.

Step 3: Access Commands Menu

  • Once MixItUp is open, locate the Menu Icon in the upper left-hand corner of the interface.
  • Click on the Menu Icon to reveal a dropdown menu.

  • Within the dropdown menu, find and click on the “Commands” option.

  • In the Commands section, click on the “Add Command” button.
  • In the Name Field Type Clip
  • In the Trigger Field Type Clip
  • In the Action dropdown, locate and select “Twitch,” then click the plus icon to add it.
  • In the Type dropdown, select “Clip.”
  • Toggle the “Show in Chat” option to ensure the clip command appears in your chat.

(Optional) Step 6: Add a Stream Marker Command

  • To add a stream marker, click on the “Add Command” button again.
  • In the Action dropdown, select “Twitch,” then click the plus icon to add it.
  • In the Type dropdown, choose “Stream Marker.”
  • In the Description (optional) field, customize the Stream Marker description. For example, you can use “Clipped by $username,” where $username represents the person who clipped the moment in the stream.

Step 7: Save Your Commands

  • Click the “Save” icon to save your newly created commands.
