How to Make a Scene in OBS
To make a Scene in OBS, follow these steps:
- Open OBS Studio.
- Click the “+” icon below the Scenes list.
- Enter a name for your new scene in the dialogue box that appears and click OK.
- To add a source to your scene, click the “+” icon below the Sources list and select the desired source type.
Some common source types include:
- Video Capture Device: This source captures video from a webcam or other video capture device.
- Game Capture: This source captures video from a running game.
- Image: This source displays an image file.
- Text: This source displays text.
- Media Source: This source plays a media file, such as a video or audio clip.
Once you have added a source to your scene, you can adjust its position and size by dragging and resizing it in the preview window.
To create a more complex scene, you can add multiple sources and layer them on top of each other. For example, you could add a background image, a webcam source, a game capture source, and a text overlay.
You can also use OBS’s built-in filters and effects to customize your scenes. For example, you could add a green screen filter to remove your background or a color correction filter to adjust the colors in your scene.
Once you are happy with your scene, you can save it by clicking the Save Scenes button in the top toolbar.
To switch to a different scene during your broadcast or recording, simply click the name of the scene in the Scenes list.
