Tutorial: How to Automatically Shout Out Someone During a Raid with Mixitup

Raiding on Twitch is a fantastic way to support fellow streamers and foster community engagement. To ensure that no one gets left behind during your raids, setting up an automatic shout-out is a great solution. Here’s a step-by-step tutorial on how to achieve this using Mixitup Box and OBS.

Step 1: Install and Setup Mixitup Begin by installing Mixitup, a powerful tool that enhances your Twitch streaming experience.

Step 2: Install and Setup OBS: Make sure OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) is installed on your system. This is crucial for managing your stream and incorporating additional features.

Step 3: Configure Mixitup:

  • Click on the menu button on the right-hand side of the Mixitup Box interface.
  • Navigate to the “Events” section and click on it.

Step 4: Edit Outgoing Raid Completed Event:

  • Look for the event titled “Twitch Channel Outgoing Raid Completed” and click on “Edit.”

Step 5: Configure Action for Chat Message:

  • In the Action dropdown menu, select “Chat Message.”

Step 6: Customize Chat Message:

  • In the Chat Message field, type the following message or customize it to your preference:
  • We have successfully raided $targetusername - please drop in on the stream and show them all the NerdTitan Love you can - http://www.twitch.tv/$targetusername

Step 7: Save Your Configuration:

  • Click the “Save” button to apply the changes you’ve made.

Now, whenever you raid at the end of your stream, you can rest assured that no one will be left in the dark. The configured message will automatically be sent to your chat, informing viewers of the target channel and providing a direct link to join the raid.
