How To enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on Twitch, Follow These Steps.

  1. Go to the Twitch website and log in to your account.
  2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on Settings.
  4. Click on Security and Privacy.
  5. Scroll down to the Security section and click on Set Up Two-Factor Authentication.
  6. Select Enable 2FA.
  7. Enter your phone number and click on Continue.
  8. Enter the verification code that is sent to your phone and click on Continue.
  9. If you have an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Authy, you can scan the QR code that is displayed. This will add your Twitch account to your authenticator app.
  10. If you do not have an authenticator app, you will receive a six-digit code via text message each time you log in to Twitch. You will need to enter this code in addition to your password.
  11. Click on Submit.

Once you have completed these steps, 2FA will be enabled on your Twitch account.

Here are some tips for using 2FA on Twitch:

  • Use a strong password for your Twitch account.
  • Use a mobile phone number that you have access to.
  • If you are using an authenticator app, make sure to back up your codes.
  • If you lose access to your phone or authenticator app, you can contact Twitch support to disable 2FA.

2FA adds an extra layer of security to your Twitch account and helps to protect it from unauthorized access. It is highly recommended that you enable 2FA on your Twitch account.
