How To enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on Twitch, Follow These Steps.
- Go to the Twitch website and log in to your account.
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the screen.
- Click on Settings.
- Click on Security and Privacy.
- Scroll down to the Security section and click on Set Up Two-Factor Authentication.
- Select Enable 2FA.
- Enter your phone number and click on Continue.
- Enter the verification code that is sent to your phone and click on Continue.
- If you have an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Authy, you can scan the QR code that is displayed. This will add your Twitch account to your authenticator app.
- If you do not have an authenticator app, you will receive a six-digit code via text message each time you log in to Twitch. You will need to enter this code in addition to your password.
- Click on Submit.
Once you have completed these steps, 2FA will be enabled on your Twitch account.
